OVERVIEW:

The Batingan System of Savings and Credit Cooperative (BSSCC) was organized in March 2012 for the purpose of engaging in activities as a savings and credit cooperative. It was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) under Republic Act (RA) No. 9520 on August 17, 2012 with Certificate of Registration No. 9520-040022230. Membership in the cooperative is limited within each area of operation: Binangonan, Rizal.

The cooperative, as a registered taxpayer of RDO No. 46 under Tax Identification No. 426-459-215-000, secured its Certificate of Tax Exemption with the Bureau of Internal Revenues on February 4, 2021 and shall be valid for five (5) years or until February 4, 2026. Under the RA 9520, the cooperative is exempt from payment of Income and Sales Taxes, provided that a substantial portion of its Net Income is returned to members in the form of interest and patronage refunds.

Cooperative Identification No. is CIN: 0109040405.

Certificate of Compliance was issued on April 26, 2022 and shall be valid and effective until April 26, 2023.

The area of operation of this cooperative shall come from the Municipality of Binangonan, Rizal. Its principal Office shall be located at 109 B Cortez St. Dalig Batingan Binangonan, Rizal.

On October 28, 2019, the CDA CALABARZON Extension Office conferred a "Gawad Parangal Awardee Regional Level" to the BSSCC as outstanding Micro-cooperative.
